SoC (System on a Chip)

An integrated circuit that combines a device's CPU, GPU, modem, and other components onto a single chip. Common in smartphones and tablets to save space and reduce power consumption.

RAM (Random Access Memory)

Short-term memory a device uses to hold active apps and processes. It is cleared when the device powers off, unlike storage.

Processor (CPU / SoC)
